- Deadline of Registration for FREE t-shirt has been extended to Wednesday June 6th, 2007.
- Players that are still 18 years old by June 17, 2007 are allowed to play in the Under 19 (U19) events. The update is to accomodate High School players (seniors). This exception only applies to Under 19 events ONLY.

- Hilton Garden Inn is the Official Hotel for the Yonex Bay Area Open Summer 2007 (June 16-17, 2007) and Yonex Bay Area Open Fall 2007 (Nov 9-11, 2007).

- Yonex Bay Area Open Summer 2007 will take place on June 16-17, 2007 at San Jose State University. This tournament will be run by the Bay Area Open committee.
- Events include:
Junior (BAJO) - U11, U13, U15, U17, U19 in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles
Maximum age of 19 years old to participate in BAJO (Bay Area Junior Open)
Senior (BASO) - Combined age of 70+, 80+, 90+, 100+ in Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles
Minimum age of 35 years old to participate in BASO (Bay Area Senior Open)
Open (A Flight) - Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles
No age limit - Players playing in Open (A Flight) CANNOT play in BAJO and BASO
$2,250 in total PRIZE MONEY for 1st, 2nd, and Semis

FREE because the t-shirt quantity are ordered based on the quantity
submitted on Sunday night to our printer.
- Due to the large number of participants participating in the
tournament, we will close the deadline of all registration on
February 15 to avoid too many participants like last year.

- After careful consideration and recent requests from our players
and members, we are moving the tournament one week later, February
23-25, to
avoid conflict with the player's family event celebrating the
Chinese New Year.

- We would like to thank all players for their participant and patience. The game went smoothly on Friday and Saturday. It ended on time.
There was a little delay on Sunday afternoon that affected the C Men's Doubles draw and delayed it approximately by 1 hour. This delay caused another delay in the C WD. We apologoize for this, especially for the C Women's Doubles players from the Southern California.
After reviewing the tournament progress, we have decided to limit All Doubles to 32 teams in the future to ensure tournament run smoothly, players enjoy the game, and players are not too tired. We had 44 teams on C Men's Doubles and 48 teams D Men's Doubles that participated in the tournament.
